Wish: A second fiddle
The Pmortland Trail Blazers need a new LaMarcus Aldridge – Wes Matthews, Arron Afflalo and Robin Lopez. But, for now, the Blazers would settle for a second fiddle to Damian Lillard. Portland should be thankful that Lillard decided to re-sign long term with the team last summer, but that move won’t pay off until they get more help for Lillard.
I’m not sure where this second option would come from – via trade or free agency next season – but they just need options. Right now, for a team that lost almost their entire starting lineup in the offseason, they simply don’t.
