After one that started off on the right foot, with the team winning its two first games prior to the new year, the Mavs are winless in January.</p> <p>The Mavs first lost to the Miami Heat, then to the New Orleans Pelicans on back-to-back nights – both games by double digits. The records indicate that Dallas is still a good team, but there’s still plenty of time for the real Mavs to reveal themselves.</p> <p>So far so good. I’m still not buying that this Mavs team is going to be this good (record wise) for the rest of the season. That’s not a bad thing. That’s just a matter of me looking at their roster objectively.</p>. (19-15)
