Miami Heat
Record: 23-20
The Miami Heat have had an up and down season, to say the least. At one point during this season, they were eight games over .500 (21-13) for the first time since LeBron James was sporting a Heat jersey. That’s big, whether you want to believe that or not.
Though, the Month of Death – because of the level of difficulty on the Heat’s schedule in January – has not been kind thus far to Miami. During their last eight games, the Heat is only 2-6 and have seen their flaws only magnified. The injuries are starting to catch up with them and their lack of depth is beginning to cost this team games.
This is normally the time when Pat Riley rolls ups his sleeves to make a move. Problem is, he doesn’t really have the assets to do so.
