Minnesota Timberwolves
Record: 13-31
I didn’t expect the Minnesota Timberwolves to make the playoffs this season, but I did expect them to be on a better than the 26-win pace that they’re on this season. If this holds up, the Wolves are projected to have another top 5 pick in the NBA Draft. Not good.
Eventually, the Wolves are supposed to be better. They just haven’t made that jump. Even though that’s OK, you can’t help but wonder why it just hasn’t clicked for a team that has Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns as core pieces. In fairness, they’ve only had Towns for a few months and Wiggins for one season and a half.
Though, it is a bit troubling.
