You can blame injuries, but the New Orleans Pelicans have been injured for the past three years. Even though they’ve hurt this team, I won’t be too lenient for a team that has arguably the best big man in the NBA.
Anthony Davis is a special talent. There are few like him to ever play the game. The fact that the Pelicans only have 14 wins midway through the NBA season is an absolute joke. Many thought the Pelicans were going to take the next step this season, possibly by breaking the top 5 in the Western Conference and the exact opposite has happened.
New Orleans is on pace to select in the top 6 of the NBA Draft. Let that sink in. Sixth.
