Brian Shaw

Last Job: Head Coach, Denver Nuggets (2013-15)

Now we get to the favorites. The growing thought is that Brian Shaw will be one of the few favorites to be named the new head coach of the New York Knicks. He has the connection to Phil Jackson and was one of the most sought after candidates just a few years ago.

Even though Shaw’s first head coaching experience didn’t work out well with the Denver Nuggets, he does deserve another shot. And maybe his former coach, and boss, will give him that opportunity?

Let’s remember, it wasn’t too long ago that Shaw was Frank Vogel’s top assistant during the reemergence of the Indiana Pacers.

Shaw will eventually get another shot in the NBA. It’s just a matter of when and with who. And no one should be surprised if the answers to those questions are with the Knicks and next season.
