Much like Kevin Martin, there’s no guarantee that Joe Johnson gets bought out by the Brooklyn Nets, but my guess is that he will. And when he does get free, look for Johnson to try and sign with a contender before the playoffs.
The growing thought is that Johnson, if bought out, will likely land with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are in February Free Agency market for an additional wing. They can’t afford to be playing Richard Jefferson consistent minutes in the playoffs and right now they are.

Adding a player like Johnson would solve that issue for the Cavs. But anything can happen. And if there’s a contender that needs another wing, they should try and convince Johnson to sign with them. You know, once he gets free.
