The Cavaliers traded for Channing Frye, cutting ties with Anderson Varejao and Jared Cunningham, but didn’t make a power move. One that could perhaps put some fear in the Golden State Warriors or San Antonio Spurs. Channing Frye isn’t going to do that.
They didn’t get a 3-and-D guy that they were reportedly targeting and they couldn’t find a taker for Timofey Mozgov, who gives them almost zero value agains the likes of the Warriors. I felt like there was a move for the Cavs to be made and they simply passed, hoping that they have enough to win an NBA Championship this season. I simply don’t believe that to be so.

I know I’m probably in the minority, but I was actually disappointed in what the Cleveland Cavaliers did – or didn’t do – at the NBA Trade Deadline.
