Potential Trade Ideas
Let’s paint a picture: It’s July and the Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off back-to-back losses in the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James comes out of hiding after two weeks, because that’s what he does when he losses in the NBA Finals, and insists to management that he simply can’t win with Kyrie and Love.
They’ll have to choose between those two and LeBron James. And it’ll take the Cavs all but one second to pick their King.
LeBron then puts on his general manager hat and – along with David Griffin – tries to trade Kyrie Irving. Moving him makes the most sense, considering that he’s probably worth more on the open market. Especially the way that they’ve devalued Love as of late.
