Denzel Valentine, Michigan State

(15) Middle Tennessee vs Michigan State (2) – Friday, 2:45 PM (ET)

Denzel Valentine might not be a sexy name come NBA Draft time, mostly because he isn’t a one-and-done player, but he will be a valuable pick for one NBA team in June.

Valentine isn’t going to win an athletic competitions, but he is an elite ball-handler and has seen it all during his four years at Michigan State. He progressed in every season and made a huge jump from his sophomore to junior year – from averaging eight points to 14. This season, his senior year, Valentine is averaging 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Yes, that’s right. Nearly a triple-double.

As one of the most experienced players in the NCAA Tournament, look for Valentine to put together a run for the history books.
