Previous: 11th. Miami Heat. 9. team. 110. <p>After a rough week, the Miami Heat recovered nicely by beating the Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers this past week. Even though there was a loss to the Charlotte Hornets sandwiched in-between, their impressive victory over the Cavs more than made up for their mishap.</p> <p>If nothing else, the Heat proved to themselves that they can in fact compete with the best in the East. Though, in the 4th seed, the Heat need to do everything they can in order to avoid a potential second round matchup with Cleveland.</p> <p>Miami needs the three seed. And, as the team with the easiest schedule of those vying for it, they should have a good chance at landing it.</p>. (40-29)
