NBA: 10 Players That Exceeded Expectations In 2015-16
Alex Len, Phoenix Suns
Stats: 8.8 points, 7.4 rebounds
Alex Len may not have overall per game statistics that jump off the sheet and point to a player that has overachieved this season. In fact, you can probably chalk it up to normal progression for a young big man.
However, when you look at what he’s been able to do since the NBA All-Star break, it’s quite impressive. Since the break, Len is averaging 15.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. The fact that Len is producing significantly more in normal minutes has to be considered a win for him individually and the team going forward.
