We’re Going Streaking
The Atlanta Hawks and the Charlotte Hornets (yes, you read that right) have won eight of their last 10 games to not just cement themselves into the postseason, but show they are a real threat in the first round. Considering they’re stellar recent play, the Hornets are formidable opponent for the Heat in round one while the Hawks should be favorited against Boston. Monitor these two teams’ hot streaks; if they play like it’s March, they’ll advance in the playoffs.
Out West, the Thunder have won five straight with four of those victories against playoff teams. Russell Westbrook dropped a triple-double against Houston after Kevin Durant notched an easy 33 points and 13 rebounds against Indiana. If those two gel in April and May, the matchup in the Western Conference Finals may not be as forgone as we think.
