I won’t. But at least the Nuggets haven’t exactly rolled over in the waning moments of the regular season. Denver has literally nothing to play for, yet they continue to play teams like the Spurs and Jazz tough. Plus, the way that Mike Malone has brought stability in the coaching department is huge heading into this summer.

Perhaps all that could jumpstart this team into something promising over the next few seasons. They have a solid foundation now. It’s time to build up.

The Denver Nuggets were the only team this season that beat both the San Antonio Spurs, albeit undermanned, and the Golden State Warriors. That should count for something, right?
