NBA Playoff Power Rankings: Is It Smart To Sleep On The Oklahoma City Thunder?
5. Los Angeles Clippers (1-0)
If this is the Blake Griffin that the Los Angeles Clippers are going to get for the playoffs, all bets are off. Griffin finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. For a player that we didn’t know what exactly we were going to get in the playoffs, that’s not a solid start.
And in their series against the Blazers, that’ll be enough. Going forward, Griffin is going to need to build off this in order for the Clippers to have a shot against the Golden State Warriors.
So far so good. And the Clippers can’t beat the Warriors tonight. They have to take care of the Blazers. But if this they can play at this level in the next round, we could have one interesting series on our hands. The Clippers have a lot of talent. If they find their stride, things could get very interesting in the Western Conference.
