NBA Playoff Power Rankings: Is It Smart To Sleep On The Oklahoma City Thunder?

7 of 17

11. Charlotte Hornets (0-1)

Well, at least the Hornets can’t play any worse in Game 2? That legitimately has to be the feeling if you’re the Hornets right now. It’s one game, as has been echoed many times: it doesn’t matter if you lose by 30 or 1, one game is one game.

The Hornets just need to get back to playing Hornets basketball. That means playing *better* defense and getting out on the break and running. They also need to find a way to get more 3s in the air. During the regular season, Charlotte averaged nearly 30 three-point attempts per game. In Game 1, Charlotte only took 17.

And that’s just a few of the things that will have to change heading into Game 2.
