NBA Playoff Power Rankings: Is It Smart To Sleep On The Oklahoma City Thunder?
9. Indiana Pacers (1-0)
When you have the best player on the floor, you’re always going to have a puncher’s chance in the NBA Playoffs. And that’s exactly the situation that the Indiana Pacers find themselves in. With Paul George taking over in the team’s Game 1 against the Toronto Raptors, the Pacers find themselves with the homecourt advantage (now) over the second-seeded Raptors.
Question is, how long will this playoff slump from Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan last? After all, if they’re playing at a high level, that kind of offsets anything that PG-13 can do on his own.
For one game though, because of Paul George, the Pacers look like a team that’s going to stick around in this series. If Indiana wins Game 2…ohhhh boy.
