9. Los Angeles Lakers (since 1999/00)

The Los Angeles Lakers are at the number nine spot for two reasons.

One, they are, with the Boston Celtics, the foundation of the NBA. These jerseys are historical, some of the best players to play the game of basketball played in Lakers jerseys.

And two, they are unique in the fact that the jersey pictured above on Julius Randle is not their home jersey, but in fact an alternate. The Lakers are part of a few number of teams who do not use white as their home jersey color.

The Lakers have three other jerseys besides the alternate above. On occasion, the Lakers also sport their purple (away) jerseys, their home yellows or even – on special occasions – their “Hollywood Night” Pride jerseys (which are black).
