6. Charlotte Hornets (since 2014-15)

The Charlotte Bobcats brought back the name Hornets after New Orleans decided run with the Pelicans. If you compare the redesign that the organization went through from the New Orleans Hornets logos and jerseys, it is fierce. They took a weak looking bumble bee and made a deadly hornet. Along with the logo and branding rebuilding, the jerseys had to change too. Charlotte rocks four main jerseys, a home, away, and two alternates.

Seen above with Courtney Lee is the normal away jerseys for the team, and the home are just as similar with a different color scheme.

The one alternate I find most appealing is the “Buzz City” jerseys. I have stated that I love a representation of a team’s city and where they come from and this is it. You have also seen this in Portland with “Rip City” and Detroit with “Motor City” to name two. These short-sleeve jerseys seen below bring next gen to a whole new light.
