1. OKC Thunder

In the end, I still believe that Kevin Durant’s best potential landing spot is with the Oklahoma City Thunder – the team that he’s spent the first nine years of his career with. Don’t agree with me…look at it this way: why would he want to leave the Thunder?

He’s playing with an unprecedented player, in Russell Westbrook, and has one of the best supporting casts in the league (despite all of its shortcomings). Sam Presti has done a solid job building a team around Durant and when healthy have been one of the most dominant teams in the Western Conference when it matters most.

The Thunder have been in the Western Conference Finals in four of the last six years. Why would Durant leave that to join something that isn’t a sure thing somewhere else?

It just wouldn’t make much sense. Not right now, at least.
