NBA Mock Draft 2016: 76ers, Lakers Get Their Guy; Suns Reaching?

8. Sacramento Kings

Pick: Jaylen Brown, G, California 

At this point in the draft, there isn’t a “right” pick. It comes down to rolling the dice and taking a chance on some of the more rougher prospects. The hope is that one of them ill be a diamond in the rough. That’s the problem the Kings have to solve with the No. 8 pick.

With the eighth pick, I fully expect the Kings to take a shot on one of the best athletes in the NBA Draft: Jaylen Brown.

Brown is a supreme athlete and is a highlight waiting to happen. His lack of outside shooting is a real concern, but that’s one of the easiest aspects of the game to improve in the NBA. Lock Brown in a gym this summer and watch him grow as a chucker. His ceiling is as high as anyone else in this draft, but there are real concerns. Still, Brown is a safe bet to be a top 10 pick, on his athletic ability alone.
