19. Denver Nuggets

Pick: Malik Beasley, G, Florida State 

The Denver Nuggets needed three-point shooting, and they get just that in Malik Beasley. He has NBA range, is athletic and has all the tools to improve on the defensive end. He’s young and is still uncovering his true potential, but the Nuggets should be content with this selection.

Beasley may not have an extended role in Denver’s rotation right away, but he has a tool the Nuggets desperately missed last season: shooting.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Beasley develops. He’s one of the most intriguing prospects, with a very high ceiling, at this point in the draft.
