24. Philadelphia 76ers

Pick: Timothe Luwawu, SG/SF, France

I’m not sure how in the world Timothe Luwawu fell all the way to 24, especially in this draft, but everyone else’s loss is the Sixers’ gain. And that’s the case with the addition of Luwawu.

Drafting Timothy Luwawu from France may not be the popular pick, but it’s one that is necessary. He has great size, standing at 6-foot-6, and is athletic enough to be an effective player in the NBA. He can defend and can shoot the basketball from deep.

Luwawu has all the tools that Nic Batum had when he came over from overseas. Not saying that he is Batum, or will be as good as he is, but he has the same tools.
