Portland Trail Blazers

Notable Additions: Evan Turner, Festus Ezeli

Free Agency Grade: B

I LOVE the Festus Ezeli fit on this team. He’s going to be a big body, block some shots and eat off the glass. He’s even got a move or two on the post. It’s the perfect match – for both Ezeli and the Blazers.

I didn’t understand the Evan Tuner signing at all. I mean, I get it. He fits. He’s a playmaker, which will help alleviate some of the pressure off Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, but I don’t get essentially trading Turner for Allen Crabbe, which will probably end up happening if the Blazers don’t match the near $20 million per year offer sheet he signed in Brooklyn.

Either way, I think that aspect will be overlooked by the Ezeli signing. That’s really the biggest need that they had heading into free agency.
