Minnesota Timberwolves

Notable Additions: Cole Aldrich, Brandon Rush

Free Agency Grade: C

The Minnesota Timberwolves didn’t really do anything exceptional during free agency, but that’s entirely OK. They kind of don’t need to. Though, I would’ve liked them to acquire some type of veteran – no, Cole Aldrich and Brandon Rush aren’t that – they should be fine.

With the season still a couple months away, we now head into Ricky Rubio watch. Will he be traded before the season? It’s a possibility, and the trade rumors just haven’t stopped. It’s seemed. Something has to give.

Either way, it may not matter. With the young core of Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, Zach LaVine and now Kris Dunn, the Wolves have a bright future ahead of themselves. Rubio presence is not going to change that.
