Charlotte Hornets

Notable Additions: Roy Hibbert, Ramon Sessions, Marco Belinelli (via trade)

Free Agency Grade: C

The Charlotte Hornets managed to re-sign Nicolas Batum, but it came as a price. The Hornets weren’t able to retain Jeremy Lin or Courtney Lee because they had to give Batum the max extension that he was seeking. They also lost Al Jefferson.

On the bright side, the Hornets managed to reel in Roy Hibbert as his replacement…wait what? Either way, it’s the hand that the Hornets were dealt. And maybe Hibbert will be able to do some nice things again?

Losing Lin probably hurts more than anything. It’s going to be interesting to see what their guard rotation looks like next season. Good thing that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to be back and healthy next year. They’re going to need him.
