Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans

There aren’t many things Anthony Davis has struggled with through his young career in the NBA. He’s not on this list because he needs to prove that he can score or play defense. Simply put, Davis needs to prove that he can be relied on (health-wise).

Through his first four years in the NBA, Davis hasn’t played in 70 games in any single season yet. That’s a little concerning, to say the least. This past season, Davis missed 21 games.

In his healthiest season of his career, in which Davis only missed 14 games, the Pelicans made the playoffs. Clearly, when healthy, Davis and the Pelicans have proven that they’re good enough to be relevant in the Western Conference. Although, avoiding the injury has really been a problem for Davis through four seasons. He needs to prove otherwise this season.
