The Heat’s youth movement is real

Planned or not, the Miami Heat’s youth movement is very real. After “missing” out on re-signing Dwyane Wade this summer, the Heat quickly shifted its attention to bringing in young players. Looking at their roster, that’s very much evident.

The Heat has two players over the age of 30 – Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem. That’s it. I suppose, Goran Dragic is technically 30, too. Other than those three players, though, every other player on the roster is relatively young.

With the team concentrating on the core of Justise Winslow, Hassan Whiteside, Josh Richardson, Tyler Johnson and Willie Reed, that’s all you need to know about where the Heat stands right now. Plus, let’s not forget to throw in Dion Waiters, who the team recently signed to a one-year deal.

Miami is young again, something that we haven’t been able to say in a long time.
