Utah Jazz

Biggest Hole: Track Record

The Utah Jazz have the talent, the youth, the depth and, now after adding veterans like Joe Johnson, George Hill and Boris Diaw this summer, the experience needed to make a serious run to the playoffs in the Western Conference.

Biggest thing for the Utah Jazz is that they don’t exactly have a successful track record. They also have struggled to remain healthy over the last couple of seasons, and that’s huge. For being one of this summer’s darlings, I’m really concerned about the psyche of this team.

Don’t get me wrong, I love their moves this summer and I like this team’s talent and depth. I’m just not sure it’s fair to drape this team in high expectations considering that this group has not made the playoffs together. I think that will be their biggest deterrent this season.
