Honorable Mention: Nikola Vucevic, Orlando Magic

Counting Stats: 18.2 points, 8.9 rebounds

PER: 21.1

WS: 5.2

VORP: 2.0

A lot of the work and improvement that Nikola Vucevic has made over the last couples of seasons has gone unnoticed. And there are probably several reasons why, including the fact that he isn’t a household name, that he doesn’t play for one of the bigger franchises and that his game isn’t the flashiest.

All in all, it’s safe to say that Vucevic often gets forgotten when talking about some of the best bigs in the NBA. At the very least, for the sake of this list, he deserves an honorable mention.

On the offensive end, Vucevic is one of the best in the NBA. He can shoot from 15-18 feet, has an array of post moves and has great touch around the basket. The problem with Vucevic is on the other end of the court. Defensively is where he struggles the most. Until he makes significant improvement on that end of the court, I don’t think he can get looped in with the rest of the players on this list.
