Even though Al Horford may end up playing a little more power forward this season with the Boston Celtics, I decided that he needed to be included on this list considering that he’s been a center for a majority of his prime.

Horford has a lot of the same skills as Marc Gasol, who we may see later. He can distribute, score in the post and on the perimeter and is one of the better interior defenders in the NBA. Even though he will never lead the NBA in blocks, he’s always in the right position and plays exceptional help defense.

The argument could be made that he deserves to be higher on this list, but I also believe No. 4 is fair. Horford should fit right into his new home in Boston and should immediately help their spacing and interior defense.

Next: No. 3
