Honorable Mention: Chris Bosh, Miami Heat

Counting Stats: 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 37% 3PT

PER: 20.2

WS: 6.4

VORP: 1.8

The only reason why the Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh is listed as an honorable mention is because he’s currently sidelined with an illness. I don’t want to speculate whether or not he’ll play this upcoming season, but I honestly hope he does.

I don’t want Bosh’s lasting impact on the NBA being about blood clots. Not like this.

When he’s healthy, Bosh can do it all. Before falling victim to blood clots the first time (2014-15), Bosh was averaging 21 points and seven rebounds, while leading the Heat in three-point shooting (38%).

In the ever-changing NBA, Bosh is also the perfect stretch-big. He can shoot the three, hit from mid-range and even play around the paint, if needed. He’s also one of the better frontcourt defenders in the NBA.
