Even at 38 years old, Dirk Nowitzki is still one of the more productive and reliant power forwards in the NBA. He was stretching NBA floors before it even became cool. If Dirk was born into this era of the NBA, in which every team needs a reliable stretch-big, there’s no question that he would probably be considered the best power forward in the NBA.

But even though he did most of his damage in the early 2000’s, Dirk will still go down as one of the all-time greats. That’s how special he was/is – to a certain extent.

We probably have two or three more years of Dirk in our lives. Enjoy it. Appreciate it. Because I’m not sure if we’ll ever see a player like Dirk again.
