Cavs Opening Night

New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers – Oct. 25th

No, the Cleveland Cavaliers don’t have any new players that we’re going to want to keep our eyes on throughout the season – unless you’re counting Mike Dunleavy – but the biggest reason why you’re going to want to catch Cleveland on opening night is because of the banner raising ceremony.

What this city has endured with their professional sports teams is unfair – did you see the Cleveland 30 For 30? Even if you do hate Cleveland, you couldn’t help but feel for them after watching that film.

However, now that they finally won a championship for the first time since 1964, you’re going to want to watch the ceremonial acknowledgment. The atmosphere should be off the charts and there will definitely be tons of emotion.
