Knicks vs Celtics

Christmas Day – Dec. 25th

Piggybacking on the Christmas Day theme, as much fun as Cavs vs Warriors is going to be as the featured game, New York Knicks vs the Boston Celtics isn’t a bad warm-up to the main event. With the Knicks making big moves this summer, among trading for Derrick Rose and signing Courtney Lee and Joakim Noah in free agency.

The Celtics didn’t miss a beat themselves this summer, by signing Al Horford away from the Atlanta Hawks and nearly pulling Kevin Durant to the East.

The resurrection of two proud, legendary franchises is good for the NBA as a whole. This has the potential to be a really great matchup on Christmas Day.
