Arguably the best two-way player in the NBA, Klay Thompson comes in at No. 2. He can shoot, cut, even distribute at times and is an underrated defender. My biggest concern of Thompson, and the reason why he isn’t No. 1 on this list, is that I’m not sure he can be THE man for any team in the NBA.

And that’s huge for me. To be the best shooting guard in the NBA, you have to be able to carry a team. I’m just not sure Thompson can do that.

Other than that, though, Thompson is everything you ask for in a two-guard. Playing next to one of the most dominant point guards doesn’t hurt, though. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s playing in the best possible system for a player of his talents.

Next: No. 1
