4. Michael Jordan – 1993 NBA Finals MVP

Stats: 41.0 PPG 8.5 RPG 6.3 APG 1.7 SPG 119 ORTG

Michael Jordan clocks in at No. 4 on this list, not because this performance is underwhelming, but because others were simply better. MJ dominated the Sir Charles led Suns in every which way.

Not only did he continue what he was known for – scoring – but had the best series of his career peripheral wise. Putting up 40 points one night is crazy, averaging it for a couple games insane. Averaging it for a whole NBA Finals series? Legendary.

The reason MJ’s performance isn’t higher is because he was underwhelming on the defensive end. Kevin Johnson and Danny Ainge weren’t exactly slouches, but they still got theirs against legendary Mike. I’m not trying to take away from the performance but this is my reasoning behind it not being higher up on the list.
