Lou Williams, Los Angeles Lakers

Lou Williams is averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game in only 24 minutes of action a night. That’s…insane. Williams is shooting at a 44 percent clip from the field and 39 percent from the three-point line.

On the surface, Williams would be an ideal addition for any team looking for bench scoring at the NBA Trade Deadline. If I had to guess, the Lakers would likely be asking for a first-round pick, at least, in exchange for Williams. That isn’t the steepest of asking prices, but I’m not exactly sure if Williams is the perfect guy a playoff team, or even a contender, would like to add.

Williams is a volume shooter that could kill offensive flows, even on any team’s second unit. Still, he might be the best of the alternatives on the open market.
