Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets

There’s no question that the Brooklyn Nets would love to transform Brook Lopez into as many assets as they can get their hands on – specifically first-round picks.

The word out there is that the Nets want two first-round picks in any deal for Lopez. Considering that the team has almost no draft picks over the next few years, and that Lopez is pretty much their only true tradable asset, that’s probably the best course of action.

Problem is, it’s going to be tough to find any team willing to give up a first-round pick, let alone two, for Lopez.

One thing’s sure, though, and that’s the Nets are trying to move Lopez. It could happen now, or this summer. I find it hard to believe that Lopez will be in a Nets uniform next season.
