Final Four and Championship Picks

Saenz: Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, UNC – Winner: UNC over Duke.

Huberman: The Duke Blue Devils (2 in East) will take down the Arizona Wildcats (2 in West), while the Kansas Jayhawks (1 in Midwest) will outlast Lonzo Ball and the UCLA Bruins (3 in South). Therefore, Duke and Kansas will square off in the final. Someone get Mike Krzyzewski some scissors so his Blue Devils can cut down the nets in Glendale. Potential top-five pick Jayson Tatum will end his short Duke career with an NCAA Title.

McFee: While I am a proponent for the underdog, it’s hard to root for teams led by the likes of Roy Williams, Kennedy Meeks, Joel Berry, Coach K, Luke Kennard, Amile Jefferson, Lonzo Ball, etc. That’s why I’m rolling with….UCLA – Rhode Island – Duke – Arizona.

Look, you might think I’m crazy for the Rhode Island pick but I’m sticking to my guns. While I would love for random teams to make it far, I just don’t see it happening this year. I think the title game is Arizona and UCLA, and what will be one of the greatest title games ever.  Arizona 72, UCLA 68

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Pontin: Villanova, Kansas, Arizona, and North Carolina. The Wildcats of Villanova overcome their namesake from Tucson, and the Tar Heels knock off Bill Self’s Jayhawks. A championship rematch occurs, and the college basketball world goes absolutely insane. This time, however, Roy Williams gets the best of Jay Wright, and the Heels win the national title.

Webb: Arizona over Duke, North Carolina over Oregon – Arizona over North Carolina

Macri: Arizona beats Duke to meet up with Kansas, who will get past Kentucky before taking down the Wildcats to win it all. Frank Mason wins tournament MVP.

Dator: 2016 was the year of upsets. 2017 is going to be the year of the heavy favorites. Final Four will be: #2 Duke, #1 Gonzaga, #1 Kansas and #2 Kentucky. Championship game will be between Jayson Tatum’s Duke Blue Devils vs Josh Jackson’s Kansas Jayhawks. It will be a close game. Still, at the end of it all, Duke will come out on top. Coach K will bag another championship. Tatum goes to the draft as the most decorated prospect.
