Centers

1. Greg Monroe, Milwaukee Bucks, Unrestricted

After two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, Greg Monroe is set to hit free agency again (if he opts out). Monroe is a solid post player with good finishing ability around the rim and is a solid rebounder. Monroe has come off the bench this season for Milwaukee and his numbers have dropped because of that. This season, Monroe averaged 11.7 PPG and a career low 6.6 RPG. Monroe will probably receive a contract close to a max in this weak free agent center class.

Prediction: Signs with Knicks.

2. Nerlens Noel, Dallas Mavericks, Restricted

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Nerlens Noel will be a restricted free agent after being traded to Dallas midseason. Nerlens is a good defensive presence with a developing offensive game. Despite struggling through injuries, Noel averaged 8.7 PPG and 5.8 RPG for the season. His potential, combined with his athletic ability is what makes him an intriguing prospect. Noel will likely command a large contract north of $10 million.

Prediction: Re-signs with Dallas

3. Mason Plumlee, Denver Nuggets, Restricted

Mason Plumlee was acquired by Denver midseason and he will be a restricted free agent this summer. Plumlee is a solid big man with a nice touch around the rim. Before being traded by Portland, he was playing at his highest level as a pro. However, he seemed to be a better fit in Denver. Furthermore, Plumlee averaged 10.4 PPG and 7.5 RPG this season. Plumlee will see a contract in the range of $10-$12 million, at least.

Prediction: Stays with Denver.

4. Kelly Olynyk, Boston Celtics, Restricted

Kelly Olynyk, after four seasons with Boston, will be a restricted free agent. Olynyk is a solid scorer and shooter but does not rebound very well. However, Olynyk will be a solid bench player for years to come. Olynyk is averaging 9.0 PPG and 4.8 RPG for the season.

Prediction: Signs with Toronto.

5. Dewayne Dedmon, San Antonio Spurs, Unrestricted

Dewayne Dedmon will be a free agent after one season in San Antonio. Dedmon has bounced around the league for three years but seems settled with the Spurs. Dedmon is a good defensive presence and provides solid rebounding as well. For the season, Dedmon averaged 5.1 PPG and 6.5 RPG.

Prediction: Re-signs with Spurs.
