San Antonio Spurs

As much as it pains me to say, the proof is in the numbers. And the numbers say that Tony Parker is close to being done, if this latest injury won’t cut short whatever was remaining of his career.

Parker averaged non-rookie career-lows in points, assists and rebounds during the regular season. With Patty Mills, the team’s backup point guard, hitting free agency this summer too, there is an opportunity for San Antonio to upgrade at the lead-guard position.

Problem is, the Spurs are pretty limited because of the salary cap. Though, there is some maneuvering that can be made in order to make room for a player like Kyle Lowry.

And don’t even worry about the fit. Gregg Popovich always seems to make it work.
