No. 8 New York Knicks- Dennis Smith Jr. (NC State, FR, Point Guard)

Boom or Bust. That’s how I see Dennis Smith’s NBA career going. What better team to take a chance of that then the New York Knicks? I’m not convinced Smith is a true NBA point guard and he didn’t win much at the collegiate level.

However, he averaged 18 points per game at NC State and he is a bulldog on the court. Derrick Rose will not be back in New York – or at least he shouldn’t be – and the point guard position will need to be addressed.

Smith. could make a big impact in the league and if the Knicks grab him at 8, he could be one of the bigger steals of the draft.
