23. Toronto Raptors select Derrick White: PG – Colorado

Derrick White has impressed during the draft season, which will likely culminate with him being a first round selection. White had a breakout year at Colorado, showing off combo guard potential.

The Raptors may be losing Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan in the near future, so getting a versatile guard that can fulfill both roles will be crucial. White can play both spots on offense and defense, and has starter upside. He’d be a great fit in Toronto.

24. Utah Jazz select Dillon Brooks: SF – Oregon

Dillon Brooks won’t be a first round pick, but I’d take him in the first round. He doesn’t have elite size, athleticism, or defensive potential, but Brooks is extremely skilled on offense. He has point forward potential, due to his ability to handle the basketball, create for his teammates, and score off the dribble.

With Gordon Hayward probably leaving in free agency, getting an offensive sparkplug like Brooks would help the Jazz overcome Hayward’s departure.
