21. Orlando Magic (via Spurs, via Thunder) – Josh Hart, F, Villanova

GM: Mason McFee; Twitter: @_Mason_Jar

Every team needs a glue guy, and the Magic believe they’ve found theirs in Hart. Hart was an exceptional college player during his time at Villanova, most recently earning Big East Player of the Year for his excellent senior campaign where he posted 18.7 PPG to go with 6.4 TRPG and 2.9 APG on a .510/.404/.747 line.

While for now he’s ticketed to be a role player despite Fournier’s recent departure, he will be coming off the bench with another rookie in Justin Jackson (and might have a shot of working his way into the starting lineup during his rookie season.)

Many teams had reportedly knocked Hart down their boards for his lack of athleticism, and because he didn’t do one thing particularly well, he just did everything pretty good. Well, between Jackson’s length and athleticism, Hart’s work ethic, and a head coach that used to have a player like Hart (although, he had a little more on-the-court flair) in… Lance Stephenson.
