Chicago Bulls

Reason: Salary Dump/Possible starter

With the Chicago Bulls trading away Jimmy Butler for well under market value, they are entering first steps of a full-scale rebuild. If they don’t bring back Rajon Rondo and Nikola Mirotic, then they will have about $34 million in cap space.

If teams are willing to give away assets to shed those contracts, à la the Lakers, then the Bulls should be in the market.

Indiana Pacers

Reason: Starter

The Indiana Pacers will be looking to rebuild their roster around big Myles Turner once they trade wantaway all-star, Paul George. Turner has been played at center, although he is best suited as a floor stretcher.

Having a big body with him inside will give him the freedom to the develop his offensive game. It would help if that body was also capable in 2017. Yes, Al Jefferson, we’re looking at you.
