18. Charlotte Hornets

Key Additions: Malik Monk, Dwight Howard 

Key Subtractions: Marco Belinelli 

The 2017 NBA Draft couldn’t have fallen any better for the Charlotte Hornets who, outside of the top 10, managed to come away with Malik Monk. He will be a solid backcourt running mate for Kemba Walker.

And if the Hornets could make the Dwight Howard project work, then perhaps Charlotte can figure out a way to sneak back into the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Although, even in a much weaker East, something feels off with this team.
