The Washington Wizards didn’t have much cap space in order to get in the game for the top free agents, but they have matched the offer sheet that Otto Porter signed with the Brooklyn Nets and have a super max offer on the table for John Wall.

After finishing one game from the Eastern Conference Finals, the Wizards losing one of their key bench players isn’t great. Although, perhaps another step on behalf of Porter or Bradley Beal will make up for such a loss.

The Wizards are close, but still remain a piece or two away from competing with the likes of the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.
