20. Steve Clifford, Charlotte Hornets

Steve Clifford took a step back in 2017. After a 48 win season and a 6th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs in 2016, Clifford followed it up with a 36-46 record this past year.

There were no real new additions to the roster and if you aren’t getting better in this league, you’re getting worse. There is no staying the same. That will not be the case in 2018, however. Steve Clifford and the rest of the Charlotte front office made some moves this offseason by signing Dwight Howard and stealing Malik Monk in the draft.

These two pieces will be huge for Clifford to tinker with in 2018.
