Derrick Rose Will Become An All-Star Again

Year after year there has been continuous chatter about the play of the former MVP. Before he had been plagued by injury, Derrick Rose was a 25 point per game scorer with about 7 assists. His numbers were incredible, sure he has since fallen off from this lofty heights but he is still a very good player.

Just last season he averaged over 18 points and 4 assists. Players such as George Hill and Dennis Schroder are praised for averaging similar numbers. The injuries have undoubtedly taken their tolls on Derrick’s body but he should not be written off.

Throw in the fact that he will be playing for the best team in the Eastern Conference and he has a chance to return to the all-star game for the first time since 2012. Let’s also not forget that the competition in the East has gotten considerably weaker. Whether he’s voted in by the fans or by the coaches, Derrick Rose will be an all-star again this upcoming season.
